Tony Cappadona: Dr Fairleigh Reeves is a urological surgeon with a subspecialty interest in prostate cancer diagnosis and management. She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and has completed a fellowship in Uro-Oncology and Robotic surgery at Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospital in London. Fairleigh has a PhD from The University of Melbourne and has published extensively on prostate cancer. She is an editor of the Principles and Practice of Robotic Surgery textbook. Fairleigh is passionate about men’s health and patient-centred care.

Join Fairleigh for an update on current prostate cancer care, including diagnostics and future directions for treatment. When it comes to treatment of prostate cancer, it is essential to understand that not all prostate cancer is the same. Fairleigh will help navigate through the complex issues and misinformation surrounding this common male cancer.

Isabella and Marcus Foundation Classic Car Day – Cars Cruisin’ for a Cure
Sunday 2nd
This 14th Annual Isabella & Marcus Foundation is a very worthwhile charity assisting kids with brain cancer.
Venue: Bicentennial Park, Scotch Parade, Chelsea. Sunday March 2nd, 10 - 2pm, gates open from 8.30am. ENTRY is $20.

2025 Rippon Lea Estate Concours D'Elegance
Sunday 23rd
Gracing the lawns between the manicured gardens of the historic Rippon Lea Estate on March 23rd 2025, will be some of the rarest and most historically significant automobiles, dating back to the early 1900s, which have been painstakingly restored and preserved over the decades, by fastidious collectors from around the world.
Guest attending The 2025 Rippon Lea Concours D’Elegance will see over 80 vehicles and 20 motorcycles from the pioneering days of motorised transport the early 20th century right up to the high-tech, current-day, exotic machinery. Link to the website.
2025 Florence Thomson Tour
Friday 28th
In February 1905, Florence Thomson was the sole female entrant in the Dunlop Reliability Motor contest from Sydney to Melbourne. Mrs Thomson was one of the 16 entrants who successfully completed the five-day trial, driving a six horsepower Wolseley, over what was then nothing more than 562 miles of dirt track between the capital cities.
